From February 11 to 12, 2025 – Düsseldorf, Germany, the following technical event took place:
8th International Akademie Fresenius Conference “Worker, Operator, Bystander and Resident Exposure and Risk Assessment”
ProHuma has been participating in this biennial international conference since 2018. The Akademie Fresenius conference is a recognized and up-to-date forum for discussing “Risk assessment of exposure for workers, operators, bystanders, and residents.” It is the place to receive the latest updates, meet experts and colleagues, and engage in important discussions in an enriching and up-to-date atmosphere.
In 2025, ProHuma delivered a presentation through its Technical and Administrative Director – Fabiana Palma – and its partner statistician Danilo Sarti – about ProHuma’s technical projects, highlighting the OPEX Pilot Study and the Dermal Absorption Project.
In addition to ProHuma, ANVISA also gave a technical-regulatory presentation, delivered by the Manager of GEMAR/GGTOX/ANVISA – Adriana Torres – focusing on an update regarding the implementation of Non-Dietary Risk Assessment in Brazil. The presentation provided current information about the regulatory process conducted by the Health Agency and the development process of a representative occupational exposure model and database for the Brazilian scenario, supported through the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between ProHuma and GGTOX/ANVISA.
