September 9 to 11, 2019 – Campo Grande, MS, Brazil

The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS – Chapadão do Sul Campus) and FEPAF – Foundation for Agricultural and Forestry Studies and Research organized the IX SINTAG – International Symposium on Application Technology from September 9 to 11, 2019. This year’s theme was “Recent Evolution and Technological Innovations”. The event is one of the main forums for discussions and debates on the evolution of techniques in recent years and technological innovations.

The program of the IX SINTAG included lectures from international and national representatives, with debates on the global landscape, particularly in Latin America, Europe, and the United States, on all aspects related to application technology. The most current topics related to the application technology market were extensively discussed: evolution of application technology, adjuvants and tank mixes, care with micronutrient application, drone application, new technologies in biological control, robotics and precision spraying, environmental risk management, management according to environmental restrictions, new product registration regulations, drift reduction, agricultural aviation, and research in application technology. Panel sessions (“posters”) were also held to present scientific papers and/or actions in the field of application technology.

ProHuma, represented by technicians Andre Sarti and Fabiana Palma, along with Professor Marco Antônio Gandolfo (State University of Northern Paraná, Bandeirantes PR), agronomy students João Oliveira and Matheus Lazarini, and agronomist Daniel Petreli, a technician at Jacto Agricultural Machines, submitted and had the following scientific papers approved:

PROPOSAL FOR FIELD OPERATIONAL CAPACITY VALUES FOR AGRICULTURAL SPRAYERS

PROPOSAL FOR FIELD OPERATIONAL CAPACITY VALUES FOR AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT

PROPOSAL FOR REPRESENTATIVE FIELD OPERATIONAL CAPACITY VALUES OF GROUND AND AERIAL AGRICULTURAL SPRAYERS USED IN BRAZIL

Soon, ProHuma will publish this work in its entirety in a book.
