Study of the Main Pesticide Application Methods by Crop in Brazil

The launch of the 2nd Edition – Survey of Brazilian Agricultural Scenarios – Study of the Main Pesticide Application Methods by Crop in Brazil took place in the cities of Brasília and São Paulo. This new edition, presenting unprecedented data, provides various insights into the pesticide application methods used in the main agricultural crops in Brazil. This research, in addition to providing data to support the operator’s risk assessment of pesticides, offers an important snapshot of the Brazilian agricultural landscape for the agrochemical sector.
At the launch event in Brasília, official entities such as the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA), an institution that has supported the publication since its first edition in 2018, the Brazilian Institute of Environment (IBAMA), and the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), which has a Technical Cooperation Agreement with ProHuma since 2020, were present.
At the event in São Paulo, researchers, entities, and companies from the agricultural sector attended. The presentation of the data was made by Vitor Hugo Leite from Spark and the Director of ProHuma, Fabiana Cremaschi Palma.
