About Us

The PROHUMA Institute is a consortium of companies from the agricultural pesticides sector in Brazil, which together form an institution in favor of science to support the implementation of human (non-dietary) and environmental exposure risk assessment for pesticides.

 

Mission

The PROHUMA Institute’s mission is to promote the assessment of human (non-dietary) and environmental exposure risk to pesticides through projects, scientific studies, and tools; and to develop a (scientific) database and exposure data of rural workers who handle pesticides in Brazil.
