June 21 to 23, 2022 – Brasília/DF and Unaí/MG
This workshop was organized by ProHuma Institute in partnership with Jacto Agricultural Machines S.A. and experts in application technology, who were responsible for delivering the theoretical content and providing technical support and discussions during the field visits. The experts included Prof. Dr. Marco Antônio Gandolfo, Prof. Dr. Ulisses Rocha Antuniassi, Prof. Dr. João Paulo Arantes Rodrigues da Cunha, and application technology specialist Daniel Petreli.
The goal of the workshop was to support discussions on the operator’s exposure risk assessment (ARO), enabling understanding of practices and the development of technologies to support and implement ARO in Brazil. The workshop’s agenda included theoretical content on Application Technologies (equipment) used in Brazilian agricultural scenarios, as well as field visits for experiential learning and technology evaluation. This promoted a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing between ProHuma’s technical team and the GGTOX/ANVISA (General Toxicology Management) technical team. This activity is an integral part of the work plan established in the Technical Cooperation Agreement between ProHuma Institute and ANVISA.
The workshop was productive and enriching, with all participants highlighting the importance and relevance of the learning experience over the three days of the event. In particular, during the field visits, participants were able to explore and understand, through discussions led by the professors/experts, the various equipment used in agricultural management and innovations within each application technology.
